I love a good gift shop. I feel like I can get lost in stores like this because they have so many cute, unique little treasures to find. And a gift shop during the holidays…don’t even get me started! So many beautiful things to look at.
Given how much I love gift shops, you can imagine my excitement when I found out there is a completely cruelty-free, vegan gift shop in Minneapolis named Éthique Nouveau. All the proceeds from purchases at Éthique Nouveau are used to help fund animal advocacy programs run by the Animal Rights Coalition. This past Thursday I got to check out their shop and I was thrilled.
Éthique has tons of great natural beauty products. The lipsticks on the bottom right are made by a local Minneapolis business, Exilery Cosmetic House. How cool is that??
When I shop I’m always checking to see if products are natural, sustainable, vegan, cruelty-free, etc. And that can get tiring! What makes this shopping experience so great is that you know everything you grab off their shelves is kind to humans, animals and the planet…which means no chemicals, no parabens, no animal products, no animal testing, sustainability and an emphasis on local products.

A great thing about Éthique Nouveau is that even if you have no interest in animal welfare, veganism, etc. the shop sells awesome stuff that anyone would be interested in buying. You certainly don’t have to be vegan to shop there or to appreciate what they sell.
Éthique has great artwork too. Ever since my visit to the The Gentle Barn I have a newfound appreciation for farm animals. I picked up a small print of the silly looking goat above. Goats are so friendly and have so much personality. I never knew how charming goats could be until I visited the barn!
Éthique Nouveau has an assortment of jewelry and clothing. At the boutique they believe it’s possible to be fashionable, fun and animal friendly.
I highly recommend checking out this cute gift shop if you are in the Twin Cities area.

P.S. I asked Dallas over at Éthique if dogs are allowed in the store…this was her response, “Of course! Not only are they allowed, but they are welcomed.” So if you’ve got a pup bring them over to check out this great gift shop and feel good knowing that all the money from your purchases are going to a great cause.
Looks like a cute shop! I see they carry 100% Pure makeup which is my fave beauty brand! If I was in Minneapolis I would totally go 🙂
