Vegan-Friendly Finds at Bloomingdale’s

Hi guys!! When it comes to vegan-friendly fashion, meaning clothes and accessories that are free of animal products, there are a ton of options out there from 100% vegan lines to brands that happen to have products that are vegan-friendly. And there are benefits to shopping both ways – it’s great to support totally vegan and ethical brands, and it’s also great to vote with our dollars at large retailers by buying their vegan-friendly products and telling them we want more of these!

Today I stopped by Bloomingdale’s to search for a dress for an animal rescue gala I’m going to this week, and as I was browsing through the different departments I saw some great animal free options.

A new brand that I’m loving and have been seeing on all my favorite websites and in stores is Pistola. Their denim products are great and I even emailed them asking if the “leather” labels on the back of their jeans are real or faux leather, and they got right back to me letting me know it’s faux (yay!). Today I bought the Pistola studded denim jacket pictured above, and I also have a pair of Pistola overalls and light lavender jeans. Scroll through below to see some of their other products at Bloomingdale’s.

I also found this beaded evil eye clutch today that I LOVE. Not only is it cute, but it’s completely free of leather or any other animal products too.

Here are some more vegan-friendly clutches at Bloomies too:

And there are more and more bags showing up at big department stores that are made of vegan-friendly and sustainable materials, like this crocheted bag made of cotton.

Here are more of their vegan-friendly bag options:

And surprisingly I always have pretty good luck finding vegan-friendly shoes at the shoe department in Bloomingdale’s. I have the espadrilles pictured below and love them. I wore them to the brunch the day after my sister’s wedding with those light lavender jeans I mentioned before.

I also found cute sneakers and sandals too:

Hopefully we’ll see the vegan options at Bloomingdale’s and all other retailers, big and small, continue to grow and grow. 🙂

xo,

Tedi
