Hi! I’m Tedi. And yes, Tedi is my full name! I get that question a lot. 😉 Welcome to my blog!is a healthy lifestyle blog all about spreading good around the world. Think of this as a spot to learn about awesome products, brands and places that promote good things like health, wellness and happiness. Everything you’ll find here will be vegan, and in some way, shape or form, make this world a better place for people, animals and/or the planet.
I started this blog in 2013 after a chance encounter at Whole Foods led me to read My Beef With Meat by Rip Esselstyn. The book completely changed my views on what’s healthy and what’s not…and I’ve been eating a plant-based diet ever since. After reading every book on plant-based nutrition that I could get my hands on, and watching all the amazing documentaries, I went on to get my certificate in plant-based nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies.
From its original days as a food blog, TediSarah.com has evolved into a true lifestyle blog. In fact, a lot of what I write about here are things I’ve learned about that I only wish I had found out about sooner.
One of my favorite posts I’ve ever written is In Loving Memory of Cody: 6 Things I Wish I Knew Before I Got A Dog. It was inspired by my dog Cody, who passed away in 2013. He was one of the sweetest, kindest souls I’ve ever known. Even though he was a dog, he made me a better person. I have him to thank for my interest in nutrition because it was after I started to look into what diet was best for him that I realized I had a lot to learn about nutrition for humans and animals alike!
Nowadays, I’m a foster mom to dogs in need here in NYC, and I also have two bunny boys of my own named Hank and Henry. I adopted them from Petraits, an animal rescue organization in Chicago.
I truly hope you enjoy TediSarah.com. Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂
