Eco-Conscious, Sustainably Made Swimwear

One of my goals for 2020 is to share more eco-conscious brands that are not only vegan-friendly but sustainable and better for the environment too. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen the sustainably made leopard print bathing suit that I was wearing (and loving!) in Florida this week. The swimsuit and light blue coverup featured above are both by swimwear brand Vitamin A, an eco-friendly brand that I am so into right now!

In their commitment to sustainability, Vitamin A uses eco-conscious textiles including their go-to fabric, EcoLux. EcoLux is the first premium swim fabric of it’s kind made from recycled nylon fibers. It’s the perfect combination of comfortable and soft while still being form fitting and flattering. And in addition to EcoLux, other eco-conscious fabrics they use include organic cotton, linen, recycled cotton and Tencel.

On top of that, 95% of all Vitamin A products, including the actual fabrics themselves, are manufactured locally in Southern California. And Vitamin A also donates a portion of all their sales to organizations that protect marine environments. How great is that?!

It’s a great brand to have on your radar for your winter/spring travels or this coming summer.

There are several styles and colors on the Vitamin A site, and you can check out all my favorite Vitamin A swimsuits, coverups and swim accessories below.
