Vegan Winter Boots

Hi guys! Happy New Year! I hope that everyone is having a great start to 2018. With New Year’s resolutions and positive change fresh on everyone’s minds, I know for some of you that will mean taking steps toward a more vegan-friendly and cruelty-free lifestyle. In 2018 one of my hopes is to continue to do my part through this blog to make it as easy as I can for people to live a vegan lifestyle or at least make more vegan-friendly choices.

Big life changes can be such a challenge, but the fact that I’m vegan now is proof that it’s possible. There was once a time when it never even crossed my mind that the clothes I wore or the food I ate had so much animal suffering and cruelty attached to it. But today that knowledge is so seamlessly integrated into my understanding of the world that it informs almost every decision I make. So whether you’re ready to jump in full force, or just want to dip your toes in the water, I’ll be here this year to make the process as easy as I can for you.

And in making it easier, today’s post is all about an item that can be tricky to find: vegan winter boots. I don’t know about where you live but here in New York City it has been cold af and warm winter boots are an absolute necessity. Most winter boots are made with leather, suede or shearling, but I have no interest in taking the warmth from another being and using it for myself. That’s just not cool in my book. So here are my favorite animal-friendly winter boots this season. I hope it makes staying warm (and vegan-friendly!) easier for you. 🙂

xo,

Tedi

I know its the middle of the summer but I just sold my winter boots as I couldnt handle the fact that they weren’t vegan.. I have been trying to find STYLISH vegan boots everywhere so this was perfect! Did you have to size up on the aldo boots at all?

Hi Alix! I’m so glad my post came in handy for new winter boots! Ya know I didn’t size up in the boots, but I probably could have, they are a little snug. Thanks for checking out my blog! xo, Tedi

    Hi Tedi!
I got these same boots after seeing them on your site – Did you pre-treat these? I’m hesitant to wear these out in the snow if they’re going to get stained. Thanks!

Hi Emily! So great to hear you got the same boots! So I did not pre-treat them, but there also hasn’t been that much snow here on the days I’ve been wearing them. Let me know if you end up pre-treating yours!
