Great Natural Beauty Brands Worth Knowing

I recently did an interview about my cruelty-free lifestyle over on one of my favorite blogs, Skinless In September(You can read the full interview here if you’re interested.) The interview had me thinking a lot about the fact that one of the foremost reasons I started this blog is so that I can help spread awareness about anything I learn that I feel can make this world a better place. Even if it’s just a little bit. And that can entail so many different things because the choices we make, from what we put on our plate to what clothes we wear and what beauty products we use, all impact our world. Each month I come across so many great natural brands that are committed to creating wonderful products. And I want to make more of an effort to share these brands with you because there are so many brilliant ones out there. Often times just becoming aware that better, safer and healthier alternatives exist in life, can lead us to make positive changes and choices. I was introduced to these four great natural beauty brands (and their great products) through my Vegan Cuts monthly beauty box subscription and today I’m sharing them with you!

Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques • Pressed Eye Shadow in Morning Dew

This natural and vibrant eye shadow is made to last all day. The key ingredients are zinc, broccoli seed, orange peel wax, lecithin, jojoba and allantoin. The Lauren Brooke line is made up of makeup, skincare products and beauty tools. All their products are natural, organic, cruelty-free and eco-friendly. One of my other favorite products from Lauren Brooke is their Organic Sweet Chai Lip Scrub, which I also discovered through Vegan Cuts. The lip scrub is made up of brown sugar, shea butter and grapeseed oil. It gives your lips a smooth and hydrated look that can’t be beat. You can also order custom makeup from this brand.

Pura Botanica • Pick Me Up Bath Salts

These mineral sea salts are infused with herbs and flowers. They are perfect for a relaxing spa day at home. The herb, flower and salt combinations are intended to be restorative and therapeutic. They smell naturally delightful and are free of synthetic fragrances, preservatives and dyes. Pura Botanica was created to blend healing, natural and pure ingredients that the founder had unearthed in her world travels. They are all natural, cruelty-free, vegan and made in the USA. Pura Botanica also sells candles, soaps, lotions, and hair care.

Athar’a • Moroccan Coffee Eye Cream

This eye cream helps to hydrate, increase elasticity, reduce wrinkles and reduce dark circles. There is just a subtle scent of coffee in the cream. Its light and moisturizing texture goes on smooth and instantly hydrates. The brand is rooted in the teachings of Ayurveda beauty and all their products are natural, organic, vegan and cruelty-free, with no synthetic chemicals or toxins. They sell skincare and body care products for women, men and babies.

Pacifica • Devocean Natural Lipstick in XOX

This lipstick is smooth and hydrating. It is highly-pigmented and meant to be long lasting. Plus, it has lots of great anti-aging properties that are meant to keep your lips nourished and beautiful. I mentioned Pacifica in my last post too because they are one of the few mainstream brands that are committed to making cruelty-free, 100% vegan products. They sell makeup, skincare, body care and even home products. You can find them in major retailers like Whole Foods, Target and Ulta, or online.

Keep any of these wonderful brands in mind the next time you decide to treat yourself or someone else!

Tedi
