Favorite Finds

Good morning guys and gals! Here are some of my current favorite finds, aka the things I’m loving right now. These Favorite Finds posts will always include items I find that I’m into and that meet my criteria for kind living. That means everything in some way, shape or form will promote wellness for humans, animals and/or the environment.

Let’s get started!

|| Naked Food Magazine || This magazine is all about preventing and reversing disease through whole food plant-based nutrition. The articles are educational while still being fun to read. And the recipes are imaginative and delicious. They also must have some pretty awesome photographers over at Naked because their food photos are always spectacular. Check out the Naked website here.

|| The Veggie Dog at Bark Dogs || If you follow me on instagram (@tedi.sarah) than you already know how much I am loving the Veggie Dog from Bark Dogs in Brooklyn. It’s not made of the nasty, highly processed stuff that normal meat and veggie dogs are made out of. Instead, it’s made from yukon gold potatoes, apple + sage and then it’s topped with pickled garlic mayo, mushroom chickpea relish and mustard. Yummmmm. Bark Dogs is located at 474 Bergen St. in Brooklyn and they’re set to open in Greenwich Village soon.

|| BB Dakota || I have been a fan of BB Dakota clothing for a long time. They always create quality, attractive clothing items, many of which are free of animal products. I am all about their coats and sweaters right now. Each of the ones listed below are comfy, cute + warm while also free of wool, down feathers and leather. Most of us know that the business of leather can be extremely cruel, but the process for getting wool and down feathers is, sadly, incredibly cruel as well. So, it’s always great to find warm puffy winter coats that are free of down (like #1). I’ve already got #1 in my closet for this upcoming winter and I love the asymmetrical zipper. And how cozy does #3 look? I could live in it! Keep in mind that not all BB Dakota items are free of animal products, but the items below all are.BB Dakota Coats

|| Literature at Juice Press || To leave you with a laugh, I’ve been loving the literature they have for anyone to grab at Juice Press. Not only is the information on them funny but it’s actually scientific and informative. I love this bookmark (below) that I picked up there. Other literature includes: “Don’t I need more protein?” “How obsessed with calories should I be?” “What makes penis happy?” (haha) and so many more. You can find Juice Press with all their healthy foods, juices and witty literature all over the NYC area. Check out their location guide here.Juice Press

Have a great weekend!
